This place definitely caters to Wichita diehards, with Wichita symbols featured on everything from magnets to Yeti thermoses, but there’s also interesting handmade and crafted things around that have little or even nothing to do with Wichita. I particularly enjoyed the handmade stuffies and regret not buying one I had my eye on. There’s also a really cool section of items that honor Black culture, and that was wonderful. There are also LOTS of little hand painted frames around (really beautiful), larger original art pieces on the walls, and very intriguing prints. And there’s a clearance area in the back with damaged or old items, which was interesting to look through. I only wish there was a little more signage indicating the origin of some things or info on their designers; like, some things were obviously made in Kansas (honey, etc.) but other items had stickers covering the “Made In” information, which was sus for a spot that advertises as a place to peruse local products. Anyway, I would come back for the stuffies and tiny art next time.

Gorgeous new space. Absolutely charming and beautifully curated selection of local art in all forms. Cute bar and menu looks great. Will definitely be back.

The Workroom in their new location at Eaton Bldg is phenomenal! 2 spacious floors to browse thru all of the unique items from various artists. The location is beautifully renovationed and perfect. There is a coffee and champaign bar with snacks and areas to chat. Grow is back with them in a new business, Planterior, and just perfect for the space. These ladies are super creative and super smart business owners. Love what they have done there! How wonderful watching downtown grow in such a creative direction.

This place is awesome! It's almost like being at a pop-up but inside of a store 💜. There are so many items to look at there that it is way too many to list off! So go check it out for yourself and find yourself something awesome at The Workroom! …

I love my city and now I love a store that loves my city as well! Go here to get your Wichita swag! I visited looking for a cool lapel pin with the Wichita flag...found it! They feature local artists and have food and music events in their parking lot. Pop in often to see new stuff!

Any place that has a resident cat named Kitty, 2 beautiful green parakeets named Dougie and Frannie, and a full-size statue of Carrie Nation outside the front door gets my gold star!⭐ This store has so much - souvenirs, t-shirts, art, but also clothes, clearance, gifts! The 2 young ladies who were manning the store were friendly but not intrusive. A definite 'must-visit' whether you are visiting or live in Wichita!

Wide and beautiful selection of bespoke products, beautiful gifts, and art from local artists. Staff were so friendly, the store was clean and vibrant. 10/10

Love this place! The sign out front says “best local shopping” and I have to agree! Tons of Wichita themed gift items, a super cute plant shop attached and a little cafe where you can get breakfast tacos. As other reviewers said, it’s kind of pricey but I like supporting local artisans. I went on a Sunday and there was live music. Service is great and super helpful! They’re right next door to spice merchant so you can shop at both.

This is a “must see” fun spot to spend some time while downtown! You can shop local and get everything from plants, clothes, local items!! Stop by “Bubbles” and try out their fun drink concoctions and try their delicious deserts! I just love seeing our old beautiful buildings being brought back to life!! Love this!

Wichita’s finest gift shop of local artists and creators, at the corner of Cleveland and 1st Street North. Here is a huge array of art and collectibles that represents the heart of ICT. From a great selection of Wichita flag items, to local photography and art of the city, to so much more to explore, this is always a spot worth visiting. I especially like it being so close to The Spice Merchant, so that I can visit two of the town’s treasures back to back. My family and I have found many great items at The Workroom for our home and gifts to others, and have received some of the highest level of service from the staff and even from the artists themselves. I give this place my highest recommendation.
